Carmo’s vacuum valve vents air cleanly and then stays sealed under load, a low-profile valve on the modular weldable flange, easy to open and close for fast venting.
On the modular flange
The vacuum valve mounts on Carmo’s universal weldable flange (G3/4″, article 03-601) in black ABS, the same flange that takes the inflation/pressure and pressure-relief valves, so one welded flange carries whichever function the product needs. The flange HF-welds onto PVC- or PU-coated structures; in the vacuum configuration it is designed to keep the airflow open. It is widely used in maritime structures: buoys, ballast and tanks among them.
Welding and assembly
Material and geometry are optimised for HF welding; weld time is typically 1.5–2 seconds depending on equipment and material thickness. Where welding isn’t practical, small runs, prototypes or repairs, the valve can also be bonded. Produced in Denmark and largely held in stock, so variants ship worldwide within five working days, in small or large quantities.
- Rescue equipment and vacuum splints (immobilisation and patient transfer)
- Vacuum-held packaging and protective equipment
- Field and industrial products that must draw down and stay evacuated
Dependable over a long service life in demanding field conditions.
