Carmo’s large programme of weldable attachment points and line supports and cleats made of PVC or PVC/PUR are used in a wide variety of applications: Typically for attaching rope, wire or guy-line to tents, inflatable constructions etc.
A plastic line-support is HF-welded onto PVC banner material, a strong, corrosion-free attachment bonded to the fabric rather than punched through it.
As other Carmo components, our line supports are made from our own compounds, securing superb weldability, adhesion and unsurpassed durability in use.
These components are sucesfully used in as diverse applications as:
- Rafts, dingies and floating barriers in the maritime industry
- Ventilation ducts for mining
- Tents for camping or humanitarian relief
- Tarpaulins and lorry covers
- Emergency equipment
- Bouncy Castels and playgrounds
Our Linesupports and attachment points are typically mounted using High Frequency Welding (also known as HF welding or RF welding) or ultrasonic welding. We supply a full range of welding tools and HF electrodes for use in existing bar welders.
Other Carmo accessories in this product segment comprise CAR-Lo attachment clips, anchor points, handles and hooks.
