How to use the Snap Grommet Tool

In addition to repairs, the tool can easily be used for hole punching and inserting snap grommets. The hole punching process is similar to making a hole in a belt, after which a grommet is inserted to increase strength and prevent damage when the banner or tarpaulin is set up. The process can be broken down into four simple steps:

Step One: Punch the Hole With Carmo’s snap grommet tool, it’s easy to “cut” the hole. This is a punching action, after which the area is ready for the insertion of the snap grommet.
Step Two: Insert the Correct Size Snap Grommet Insert the correctly sized snap grommet. After compression, this ensures that the hole can be used for tasks such as securing the tarpaulin or banner without causing damage.
Step Three: Compress the Grommet Once the grommet is inserted, it needs to be compressed to ensure it stays securely in place. Carmo’s snap grommet tool also serves asa 2-in-1 solution, as it can be used for both inserting and compressing the grommet. In case ofdamage, the tool can also be used for repairs.
Step Four: Repeat the Process as Needed You can now repeat the process as many times as necessary. After completing these steps, you will have installed snap grommets in your banner or tarpaulin, making it fully functional and ready for use.
