Can you imagine a world without plastic?

This is one of the questions raised in a campaign initiated by The Danish Plastics Federation. The purpose of the campaign is to create awareness of the benefits and characteristics of plastic and thereby introducing a more realistic and varied dialogue about plastic.

Carmo Welcomes a Realistic Dialogue About Plastic

Carmo is a member of The Danish Plastics Federation and strongly supports an open dialogue about the use of plastic today and in the future. Anders Johnsen, VP R&D and Technology at Carmo A/S, explains:

“Here at Carmo, we welcome any dialogue about the use of plastic, and this campaign will be helpful in raising a more realistic dialogue about plastic. There are obvious benefits to plastic materials, but also a range of environmental challenges that must be addressed. At Carmo, we have a clear strategy to enforce sustainable solutions everywhere possible. Therefore, we have introduced a high level of recycling in all production processes, and we are experts at developing smart design with minimal waste. Simultaneously, we are experimenting with different types of bioplastic in our production. To reduce our footprint even further, we have introduced 3D printing, which will reduce stock, increase time-to-market and reduce waste.”
