Carmo has supplied the medical industry with medical device components world-wide for more than 60 years. We are ISO 13485 certified since 2013 having the QMS and experience to meet the special requirements for cleanroom ISO Class 8 production, traceability, and documentation vital in the medical industry.
Carmo's technical components are engineered for long-lifecycle performance under harsh conditions — UV, saltwater, freeze-thaw, repeated cycling. HF-weldable products include eyelets, valves, threaded nozzles, and grommets, deployed across maritime, industrial, agriculture, cleantech and rescue markets. More than 70 years of injection moulding experience; customer relationships of 20 to 30 years with components still in service.
From early design through to ISO 13485-governed volume production at a single integrated Danish site. Carmo Print Moulding delivers functional prototypes in production materials in days; the same engineering team and quality management system scale into regulated volume production — no supplier handover at scale-up. Suitable for medtech development, technical-OEM new product development, and custom variants of standard components.

Rapid prototyping taken to the next level

We have fully integrated Additive Manufacturing in our product development setup combining the benefits of 3D print technology with injection moulding. This enables us to offer not just fast proof of content, but functional prototypes in the right material. With our extensive experiences with both AM and injection moulding, we have the knowhow to ensure smart design from simple to complex solutions (up to 3K) that is designed for volume production.

Carmo’s environmental responsibility

Carmo is working to increase the efficiency of the use of resources and improve our climate footprint. Therefore, we have mapped our CO2 emissions and set specific targets for our CO2 reduction in 2030 having signed up for Science Based Targets. We test and implement alternatives to traditional plastic materials continuously, and we recycle surplus material in production to minimize waste. To reduce our impact on the environment, we prioritize energy from energy solutions other than fossil energy sources.

Carmo has joined Science Based Targets og is committed to reducing emissions in scope 1 and 2 with 50% in 2030. Carmo’s reduction targets are in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement to keep global warming to 1.5°C.
